The ST-100 Up-right hand staple tool is for installing radiant tube in concrete slab applications. The long handle allows the installer to easily staple down flexible radiant tube to rigid foam insulations while walking. The tool is easy to operate and will reduce installers fatigue while lowering the time to install. Extruded polystyrene insulation board is recommended to be used under concrete slabs.
The staples are available in three sizes and selected based on the diameter of the tube, 3/8”, ½”, 5/8” and ¾”. The staples come in magazines of 30, (the 1-1/2” long staple is in 25). The magazines load easily into the tool and are fed via gravity with a metal weight. This new design is simple and virtually eliminates staple jams.
